What happens when you book with Dr Rinu
No hard sell. No commitment at the first visit. Just a clear picture of what Invisalign can do for your teeth, what it costs, and how long it takes.
01

Book in with Dr Rinu

Call Alexander Drive Dental Clinic on 08 9276 1540 and book an Invisalign consultation with Dr Rinu Williams. The reception team will find a time that suits you. If you're FIFO, let them know your roster and they'll work around it.

02

See your smile before you start

At your first appointment, Dr Rinu scans your teeth with iTero (digital, no moulds). You'll see a 3D simulation of how your teeth could move. She'll be straight with you about what's realistic, what it costs, and whether Invisalign is the right fit.

03

Your aligners arrive

Custom-made for your teeth, based on a treatment plan Dr Rinu designs using her postgraduate training in clear aligner therapy. You wear each set for about 7 days, 20 to 22 hours a day. Take them out to eat, drink and brush.

04

Progress, not guesswork

You'll check in with Dr Rinu periodically so she can track how your teeth are responding and adjust the plan if needed. Most people need fewer visits than traditional braces, which is why Invisalign works well for busy schedules and FIFO rosters.

FIFO Workers

Start on your break. Continue on site.

You're away for weeks at a time. Traditional braces need regular adjustments, and that doesn't work with a FIFO roster. Invisalign aligners travel with you. Treatment continues wherever you are, with fewer chair visits needed back in Perth.

  • Aligners go with you. No clinic visits needed on site
  • Fewer in-person appointments than traditional braces
  • Start treatment between swings
  • Dr Rinu can plan appointments around your roster

Not all clear aligners are the same

The clear aligner market has grown rapidly, with new brands entering every year. Some are backed by decades of clinical data. Others are not. The difference matters when it comes to your teeth.

Invisalign was the first clear aligner system, developed over 28 years ago by Align Technology. Since then, it has been used to treat more than 22 million patients worldwide, supported by over 295,000 trained providers. That volume of clinical data feeds directly into how each treatment is planned and refined. Dr Rinu chose Invisalign for this reason: the precision of the system and the depth of research behind it.

What you need to know
The cost depends on the complexity of your case and length of treatment. Dr Rinu will provide a detailed quote after your initial consultation. Payment plans may be available through the clinic. Health fund rebates may apply depending on your level of cover.
Treatment length varies. Many cases range from 6 to 18 months. Dr Rinu will give you an estimated timeline during your consultation based on your specific situation.
Invisalign uses removable clear aligners instead of fixed metal brackets and wires. They're less visible, can be taken out for eating and cleaning, and generally require fewer clinic visits. Both options have strengths. Dr Rinu can help you understand which may suit your case.
When you start a new set of aligners, you may feel some pressure or mild discomfort as your teeth begin to move. This is normal and typically eases within a few days. Your experience may vary.
Invisalign can suit FIFO schedules because aligners go with you and treatment continues on site. In-person visits are needed periodically, and Dr Rinu can work with your roster to schedule appointments during your time in Perth.
No. Invisalign is suitable for many adults regardless of age, provided your teeth and gums are healthy enough for treatment. Dr Rinu treats patients across a wide age range and will assess suitability at your first appointment.
Crowns, bridges or other dental work don't automatically rule out Invisalign, but they do affect treatment planning. Dr Rinu will assess your situation and let you know what's possible.
